Rev. Janelle Tibbetts Vaughan graduated from C.S.U. Northridge in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.  After graduation, she worked for Great Western Bank, as a customer service supervisor and Walt Disney Feature Animation as a recruiting assistant.  Then, Janelle felt God's call into ministry and attended Columbia Theological Seminary, near Atlanta, GA.  During seminary, Janelle was the Youth Director at Druid Hills Presbyterian Church.  She graduated in May 2000 and became our Associate Pastor the following January.  As a "generalist" Associate Pastor, Janelle works with not only our children, youth and family ministries, but also with the Deacons, Presbyterian Women, Mission and Parish Life Committees.  

At the Presbytery, Janelle has served on and chaired the Committee on Preparation for Ministry.  She has co-chaired the Christian Formation Committee.  Janelle is currently the Moderator of the Presbytery of San Fernando.

Janelle is married to Peter Vaughan, and they have a son, James, who was born in May of 2009.  Janelle used to spend her free time hosting dinner parties, reading, crafting and writing.  Now, she happily spends it chasing around her "now mobile" son.
