A Message From Rev. Curtis Webster

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Encino, the Community of New Possibilities.  We are a congregation eager to discover the new ways in which God is at work in the world, and to hear God’s call in a diverse and dynamic mission field.  We seek to express our Christian faith in tangible ways that touch our neighbors both here in the San Fernando Valley and around the world, so that the light of Christ’s love may shine for all.  We invite you to join us and discover how God is calling you to a life of faith and mission.  Come see us at our 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service.  To learn more about our congregation, I invite you to call either our Associate Pastor, the Rev. Announcements

On Sunday, July 27th, First Presbyterian Church of Encino will be providing dinners for 50 homeless people at the San Fernando Rescue Mission.  Many of the people we will be serving are children.  We need 5 people to prepare the main dish, 4 people to bake cupcakes and 15 people to bring food donations for other items on the dinner menu.  All donations should be brought to the church office by noon on Sunday, July 27th.

If you can help, please sign-up at the Mission table in Fellowship Hall after the church service.  We will provide recipes for the turkey casserole and cookies and cream cupcakes.  If you have any questions, please contact Betsy Lindsay, 323 855-1187 or Ruth Mandernach, 818 904-0894.
